True Profits represent a company’s financial profits after accounting for its key impacts on financial, natural, and human capital by quantifying these impacts and translating them in the language of currency (€).
By monetising effects on natural, human, and social capital, such as emissions, fair pay, biodiversity loss, or employee wellbeing, True Profits reveal a company’s real contribution to society. Positive impacts increase profit; negative ones reduce it.
This offers a standardised, comparable way to assess societal performance across sectors, and over time.
